BIDDUIDDETAILS
BIDDUIDDETAILS and the associated tracking object
BIDDUIDDETAILSTRKdefine the registration data for each ancillary service a dispatchable unit is registered to provide. The registration data is required to validate a dispatchable unit bid submitted for that ancillary service.BIDDUIDDETAILS data is public to participants.
Source
BIDDUIDDETAILS updates as dispatchable unit registration details are modified.
Volume
Approximately 1000 records per year.
Column Schema
BIDTYPE
Bid Type Identifier
The SQL type is VARCHAR2(10).
This is actually a factor/enum, with values:
-
ENERGY -

LOWER60SEC -
RAISE5MIN -
LOWER5MIN -
LOWER6SEC -
RAISE60SEC -
RAISE6SEC -
RAISEREG -
RAISE1SEC -
LOWER1SEC
This column is mandatory, and a primary key.
DUID
Dispatchable unit identifier
Warning
This column may contain funny characters such as / (slash) or # (hash). This may break hive-style partitioning.
For more information, see the dedicated documentation page.

This column is not mandatory.
Examples:
5, 600
MAXENABLEMENTLEVEL
Maximum Energy Output (MW) at which this ancillary service can be supplied (AS Only)
SQL Type: NUMBER(22,0)
Polars Type: pl.Int128
This column is not mandatory.
Examples:
0, 30, 1600
MAXLOWERANGLE
Maximum Angle at the lower end of the ancillary service profile (Degrees)

Minimum Energy Output (MW) at which this ancillary service becomes available (AS Only)
SQL Type: NUMBER(22,0)
Polars Type: pl.Int128
This column is not mandatory.
Examples:
0, 5, 300
New Data Timing
When dispatchable unit registration details are modified
Code Examples
Polars
Casting is enums, categoricals etc is not essential, but may speed up parsing.
Swapping int for pl.UInt16, pl.Int32 would also speed up parsing. However some of the datatypes are inferred, so they may be wrong.
This code deduplicates for you. Deduplication is normally only required across multiple months.
This code assumes that all columns are present, which may not be true for older files.

Availability
Visibility: Public
This table is in the public monthly MMSDM archive.
I have collated the list of all those files into one place, in this CSV metadata file. (Columns year, month, url, compressed_size in bytes).
The earliest available data is month 1 of 2015. The most recent available data is month 9 of 2026.
Every month in between has a file. (No gaps.)
Data Size
Each year of data is approximately 767 KB when zipped, 8 MB as unzipped CSV.
Deduplication and PDR Loader Configuration
The primary keys are:
Tip
Bid deduplication is particularly tricky. See the guide.
The transaction type is "INSERT-UPDATE", which means that you will likely see duplicate data with different values.
You should deduplicate by sorting based on LASTCHANGED, within each group of primary keys.
| Report Name | Report Subtype | Version |
|---|---|---|
| PARTICIPANT_REGISTRATION | BIDDUIDDETAILS | 1 |
This means that the CSV files start with metadata columns:
